COVID & Communicable Illness Info

As of April 3, 2023, masks are no longer a requirement for licensed health care facilities in Oregon. Accordingly, after this date it is your choice whether you wear a mask in the building and waiting areas, as well as during the massage session. The therapist (me) will continue to be wearing a KN95 mask during all sessions to provide additional protection for everyone, especially those in our circles who have lowered immune function for any reason. Protocols continue to include room ventilation,HEPA filtration, and contact and touch surfaces disinfection between every client.

Please do not knowingly come in and expose the practitioner, other clients and building occupants, and their families and associates to the risk of communicable illness if you:

  • have yourself experienced any cold or flu like symptoms in the past week
  • have traveled to a high risk area in the past week
  • have been in close contact (within 6 feet outdoors, or sharing a room indoors) in the last 7 days with someone for a total of 15 minutes or more over any 24 hour period, who had a communicable illness, or came down with a communicable illness within 2 days of our contact. Communicable illnesses include cold, flu, COVID, hand foot and mouth disease and others. Members of your household are considered close contacts regardless of amount of time spent with them.
  • have any communicable skin or eye condition, including pinkeye, scabies, lice, athlete's foot etc. etc.

We strongly recommend and support vaccination for your own protection and everyone else's.

For everyone's respiratory health, our facility is fragrance free - please do not apply or use fragranced products the day of your session (not COVID related, but as long as we're going through the details...)
